Standby Duties

There are several kinds of Standby duties at my work. 1. SB : Full-on standby starts from 0600-2300 hrs. usually 2 consecutive days and vary from       1-3 weeks. You likely get called out on these days. You cant apply for vacation on these days. 2. SB1: Between 0500-1400 hrs.  3. SB2: Between 1200-2100 hrs.        These SB1 and SB2 are, sometimes considered as Leave-Plan where you may apply for vacation. 4. SB3: Usually this standby duty is placed when your flight is cancelled. You have most likely to get called out on this day as first priority. 5. ** other standby duties have different codes depend on certain season i.e. Songkran's where some crew might have to be present at operation centre **  I don't like being on standby as I cant plan my day/week. On the other hand, I don't kind when I would like to be home. But, again, this could be annoying as you cant do much or go too far even when you are up/downstairs. On standby you must be available by land-line. ...

Feeding Hr.Postmann

Being a postman or post officer is one of my dreamt carreer . Mr.Postman can go to different places (where now, as a grown-up, I realised there must me a certain routing he should be doing, while being post officer is fun doing stamping and see different stamps around the worl (where, obviously, of which section you work) So, as i have seen how tired they could be as well as being a coffee lover, I sometimes invite this Herr Postmann , (German way of calling???) to come round for coffee. This might be odd for him to have someone inviting in. But for me, i think it is fine. I just offer him coffee and some snackie , if there is and just leave him sit comfortably on the bench in our compound while i just doing my work upstairs. Having thought of this, he was, kind of, stunned to our invitation. Anyway, who care. As long as he doesn't have to carry his empty stomach around sending us mails. Have a good day Herr Postmann !

Plumbing Wood

Another day another issue... Always there are things to be fixed doesn't matter where you are: in hotel room, pool, gym, library, shopping malls, but the end of the day you cant get away from "home." Recently there are so many things that need to be fixed here and today I have just managed to fix our toilet flush in main bed bedroom ensuit. At first I thought i needed to change tap in order to tempolarily fix the problem when is not the real cost. After trying to open its machanism and conslting previous e-mail from cutomer service, it was not really how to, but just a way to deal with. I was lucky to fix it without installing extr tap on! Hurray!!!!! What's next??? Lighting system! I cant stand it! I got electrical shock once i was trying ot fix someting and now i am too scare to do it. Besides, where we live now is a bit old (well, not that old old, Just over 13 years!) I thing some wiring need to be changed. MEA, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, wants to cha...

blog club girls

Having start writing this blog, I'd like to thank May, my best mate, for initiating such idea. In fact I have thought about it long time ago as part of getting this MacBook, but i have ever really put my hands on it since. Probably this is time to start. So, let's start with the Blog Club Girls, as we probably share our ideas and thought this and keeping up with informative things. Blog Club Girl, as for now i am not sure if it would exist anywhere in on the planet earth, but let me name it here., staring with the idea of Lady Mavie, writing about his (oops! her) background and updated information on getting true move's iPhone 3G which makes him over the moon for the past few days.Next is me, woodyflyer, a (rather) young lad with minimum attiude but could be one of them at some point. Who's next??? Not sure, probably dog.tor-to-be, Roland???  Who are these girls? Who are these guys? These things needed to be added on so you guys can continue reading it and keeping up wi...
